Laptop keeps going into slideshow mode

"I have a single image in my Windows 11 Pictures Folder. If I place more than one image in this folder and after just 1 minute of no keyboard or mouse use, my computer goes to sleep and begins a slideshow if I have two or more images in the Pictures folder. I have two issues. The first is that my computer wants to go to sleep after 60 seconds of no use no matter what my power settings are. I can change them to never go to sleep or any number of hours and still my computer goes to sleep after 1 minute of no activity.
