Laptop "can't connect to this network."

My wife's laptop, that she uses daily and which has not had a problem connecting to our wireless network before, suddenly cannot connect to the network.We have two desktop pc;'s that run wireless to the network without issue as well as two phones that have no network problems. I've tried connecting three USB wireless adapters and none of them are able to connect to the network. Obviously the problem is not with the network but, I assume, with the settings on her laptop.Where to start and what to do?
