Keyboard turns off periodically and slows down when writing fast, on secondary user

I am using an asus m16 laptop with windows 11. I recently created a new user for work (non admin). My keyboard keeps turning on and off every 5 minutes or so and it is also lagging a lot when I am writing. When I go back to my admin user the problem disappears. Any clue why this is happening?
