Keyboard problem

Hi community,I was using my HP Elitebook 8460p notebook and I turned it off properly. When I turned it on the keyboard gave no signal. I had to use the screen keyboard to uninstall the two keyboards that windows detected from the device manager and restart. After this it works again. How do I solve it?
