Hello,
I've been experiencing a keyboard mapping issue.
Initially, the @ and " keys were interchanged.
Using publicly available troubleshooting, this was a reasonably easy fix.
However the right hand square bracket and curly bracket keys } ] on my keyboard remain affected.
I have attempted to change regions / turn off sticky keys / install / uninstall language packs and uninstall drivers but to no avail.
I notice the following:
The right hand bracket works immediately when I restart the computer, but a few seconds into start-up, it stops working.
When i push the right hand bracket key, it produces an apostrophe ´ but it only produces an apostrophe if i hit the key twice ´, with the first stroke of the key doing nothing.
If i hit the space bar after hitting the right hand bracket key twice, it results in a double apostrophe ´´ on screen.
Can anyone assist me here with this odd behaviour, so I can get my beloved right hand bracket and curly brackets back?
(I have attempted using a registry writing software called SharpKeys to assist, although this didn't work).
