Keyboard malfunction

I am running Windows 11, Windows 11, version 23H2.I am also using a wired Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000.Recently, my keyboard has been malfunctioning and does not display the keys I have typed, on certain keys.For instance, the use of the apostrophe results in the following:Weèll soon be there, heès not home, I have confirmed that my Windows settings are for US English and also checked keyboard settings.And, of course, I have rebooted.Any ideas or suggestionsÉTIA
