Key not working

Ok i buy a windows 8.1 enterprise and i open it and put the key and its says that key cant be used to activate this edition of windows pls try a key agin and i cheek agian. after reading microsoft support i go to the store and they said that you need to change the edition of your windows 8.1 so pls tell me how to change edition of windows 8.1 without losing data.
