Up until recently my PC has been "shutting down" with the fans still spinning and case lights still moving. It always happens when I'm gaming. My monitor shuts off and says "No Signal" and my mouse RGB software stops working. I turned off all CPU power saving modes in my BIOS to see if that would help as suggested by someone in these forums but it still didn't do anything. I hopped onto the Event Viewer and saw a Kernel-Power error( 41 (63) ), and scrolled down a tad bit more and saw a DxgKrnl error followed up with a bunch of Dwminit errors that said:
"The Desktop Window Manager process has exited. (Process exit code: 0xe0464645, Restart count: 4, Primary display device ID: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER)"
with "Application Errors" that said:
"Faulting application name: dwm.exe, version: 10.0.19041.746, time stamp: 0x6be51595
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.19041.906, time stamp: 0x2f2f77bf"
and lastly one "Display" error:
"Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
This had been happening very frequently up until recently and I need solutions. What do I have to do? Do I have to buy a new component?
My specs are:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB OC
RAM: 16gb DDR4 Gskill Ripjaws 3200MHz
MoBo: B450m-Ds3h
SSD: Kingston A2000 250GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
PSU: Be quiet! System Power 9 600W Bronze
and the monitor is an "AOC 24G2U" connected with a Display Port cable.
