Keep Getting "Critical Process Died" Errors on my computer. I've tried everything and don't know what to do.

My computer keeps blue screening (maybe once an hour or so) with the error message "critical process died". I have all the updates installed and even installed the optional updates (which were mostly driver updates). I've done the "Fix Problem using Windows Update" solution, and while that staves it off for a few days, it keeps coming back. I'm not sure what to do and need help on potential solutions.
