The other day my computer automatically updated (vista) as it normally does.
When I restarted my computer it came up with an error saying something along
the lines of "the driver is not compatible with the operating system you are
trying to install" which is WEIRD. The negative effect alongside the error
msg was that I could not connect to my wireless network.
When I was trying to figure out how to fix the thing, I thought maybe it was
one of the updates that set off this error. I uninstalled KB935280 because
it was 'recommended' not 'important'. Upon restarting, the system was back
to normal and no problems whatsoever.
This morning I turned my computer on, and the same error msg came up. I
checked updates and sure enough it had installed KB935280 again. I
uninstalled it.
What I decided to do was to set my updates to not be automatic but to ask me
before downloading and installing them. This is all well and good in the
meantime, but it keeps reminding me to install the update.
How do I get rid of it for good? Is there anything I can do to make my
driver compatible so that I can install it?
no idea.
please help.
