KB928365 possible solution

[Hipper]

My install for this failed, and failed again on a second attempt, so for the
third go I decided to disconnect from the internet and shutdown my firewall,
anti spyware and antivirus.

I then used the shield in the icon tray to start Microsoft Update and as the
item was already downloaded, clicked install.

And it did! Horay!!!

May be I was lucky but it might be worth a try before any more complicated
procedure.

I have tried this method many time with no luck.

This did not work for me, did internet disconnect, and security shutdown,
same "failed to install" no error message. Called MS 1 866 727 2338 (9) -
PCSAFETY Update Problems and they would not give phone support. HELP
