(KB5049981) Update made several keys on a new keyboard stop working?

The update that was released on 1/14/2025 attempted to update on 1/21/2025 for my PC. I tried to reinstall the update, without knowing that it had many issues, until it was too late. Under check for updates, it failed and so when I redownloaded it and attempted to restart my computer, I got a blue screen that said the computer ran into an issue, then a black screen saying it was preparing to do automatic repairs, and then a red screen that it couldn't be updated and that it was undoing the changes.
