I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF-52 which runs Windows 7 Pro 32 bit Edition. I think the 32 bit thing may be important here. It is extremely useful since we have to use a lot of older apps to support the systems we maintain.
Anyway, I have tried twice to install KB4557144, each time without success.
Once the machine reboots after installing KB4457144 it briefly shows the desktop, then immediately reboots, and will do this endlessly.
On both occasions, I have had to boot into Safe Mode and roll back the system to get the laptop working. The first time I did it, I allowed the updates to install normally (i.e. several updates together) so I wasn't sure which one was the culprit, but the second time I checked only one update at a time, and it was this one that caused the problem.
Obviously, I can just ignore that update for now, but I'd like to keep up-to-date if possible.
