just bought a new computer and i cant sign into anything microsoft related. PLEASE HELP

Hi, I recently bought a ibuypower pc from best buy. Last night I set it up and everything was looking good, although today I wanted to further set the computer up and I wanted to log into the xbox app. every. single. time. I click the sign in option a small tab opens for half a second then closes. I tried everything from restarting my computer to uninstalling and reinstalling the app. My windows is fully updated. Can somebody help me please, also this problem is not just on xbox. I cant sign into any microsoft related things like the store either.
