Jump Lists not showing up for Pinned Apps in the Start Menu

I see the jump lists in my taskbar but not with Apps that are pinned in my Start Menu. I DO see them when I click "All >" and right-click an app, but I sure would like to see them from the pinned apps. I have updated Windows to the latest version. Google search brought me to program called vivetool, but I'd rather not download a program when I bet it's just a setting somewhere.Thanks.
