January 2025 updates broke my laptop

I have automatic updates on for my laptop. For the past couple of weeks when I try to power the laptop off using the windows button, I can see Update and Shut Down, Update and Restart, Sleep, Restart and Shut Down. But NONE of these buttons work. The machine will not turn off unless I press and hold the power button on the outside of the laptop. The update seems to have disabled my power button. I ran the update troubleshooter a couple of times but it only says it wasn't able to fix the problem. Ran a couple other troubleshooters but they say everything is fine. The Windows Update page in
