ive tried everything i read online about stopping bitlocker

just when I think I have the answer it tells me devise not ready when i get to the point of turning it off, and I'm ready to just scrub that partition and loose the data and just format it, but because it still trying to encrypt it wont allow formatting, did I miss something in these threads help????? froze at three percent btw
