Disable the BitComet add-on prior to accessing Windows Update.
If BitComet is not installed, then it's another add-on causing the issue.
To disable add-ons ... open Internet Options either via the Control
Panel or from within IE > Tools > Internet Options.
Click the Programs tab
Click the Manage Add-ons button
