Issues with Minecraft

Hello. Whenever I press on minecraft it does nothing, updated minecraft, same problem, updated windows, same problem and when i try to open a .mcaddon file, which works before but now gives me a registry error and on the launcher it says failed to start, i have worlds on there that I need to keep so I cant uninstall and reinstall it, is there any fix and if i do have to un and reinstall it, any way i can back up the worlds. (was trying to add images for reference but they failed to upload)
