Issues with connection to comcast Xfi Pods after update to windows 11

I have a Dell Alienware M15 R4 that was running windows 10 up until two weeks ago when I was prompted to update to windows 11. I use comcast for my ISP and because of my router location, I use an Xfi pod extender (latest generation). Prior to the update, my PC would always use the Xfi pod to connect (as its far closer in proximity and has the stronger connection). I can verify that because in the Xfinity app, I can see which devices are connected to which wifi device (the gateway or the xfi pod). Every since updating to windows 11, my PC just refuses to use the Xfi pod as the connection point
