Issues After MS Support Helped Me Fix Windows Activation

I have a Windows 11 computer that was using a legitimate OEM key. Yesterday (possibly after completing a Windows update), I was hit with a Windows Activation Error. When installing Windows on this pc I intentionally didn't link it to a Microsoft account. After following the troubleshooting steps outlined by Windows I reached out to support with this issue. They had me take the following steps.
