Issue with monitor not receiving signal after waking from sleep

[Windows 11]

I'm on Windows 11 I have my power settings set to only have the monitor go to sleep after an hour and normally put my PC to sleep manually at the end of the day. When I am away from my PC for more then a few hours I can't get the monitor to receive a signal from the PC after trying to wake it the PC is clearly still on cause the light is suppose to blink when it's in sleep mode and when I shut it down and restart which is the only way to get my monitor working again and open chrome I get a message asking if I want to "restore my pages" because of the shutdown.
