Is this spam/scam or Microsoft

Until today, this has never happened. All day today, I keep getting text messages saying Microsoft: Unusual signin for (part of my phone number) Review at aka/ms.alca. I'm not going to click on a link text to my phone. So I googled the link address and I'm getting mixed info. Some places are saying it is Microsoft. People on message boards are saying it is a scam. I decided to go on my pc, not my phone....to look at Microsoft. It did pop up to create a security pin number and a secondary email for security reasons.
