Is this normal? I've been on hold for phone support for hours.

HelloI'm currently on hold on the phone from Microsoft support. There was a call from the automated system, I followed the prompts. But it has been almost 3 hours and I am still on hold. Is it normal to be on hold this long?edited to say its been 5 hours on hold now
