In the past, I've been pistol-whipped by the "permissions virus", which denies access to files and/or folders--regardless of the user's level of security, ownership, etc.
Since it is near impossible (at least, for the typical user) to delete, move or rename files/folders that have been "tagged" by this virus--I was wondering if there was some way to "turn off" permission requirements, at least until I am able to manually delete/move/rename/etc., the desired file/folders?
No, assigning the user OWNERSHIP--does NOT resolve this;
No, assigning the user FULL ACCESS--does NOT resolve this;
No, assigning EVERYONE FULL ACCESS--does NOT resolve this!!
So now, when I try to open the WINDOWS MIXED REALITY PORTAL--I receive a PERMISSIONS DENIED error on the folder: Microsoft.Windows.HolographicFirstRun_cw5n1h2txyewy.
Really? So, I can't use VIRTUAL REALITY--because of a permissions problem?!?!
(And why are permissions denied on this folder? So, you're creating folders--that YOU can't access, now?)
