Is there any way I could get the 'PC failed to start' screen away? I cannot revert as I just updated it earlier today. (the pc still can start ect)

So a couple of days ago my laptop (which is mostly on) started showing basically saying that my PC didn't boot, I have no idea how this or why it showed up (i could still enter and still am just pressing reset). I have asked someone about it and all they have said is that I might have scratched the hard drive. I'm not sure and am a bit worried as I do not want to lose a laptop I've had for not even a year. The last time this happened was probably August (so two months ago) when I accidentally spilt a drink on it (I think it was a fizzy one I'm not sure) and it lasted for 3-4 days. I thought no
