Is there a fix for volume mixer automatically resetting?

Hi.I have had this issue where the volume level of my web browser resets everytime it's reopened.At first, I thought it was a problem with brave, as I only started using it, but then I realized it was happening with all web browsers. Tested today with brave and edge, and both are resetting everytime they are opened.The issue: when I go watch or listen to anything on a web browser, I open windows volume mixer and set it to 50% or so. While the app is still open, it keeps it's volume level, but as soon as I close it and open it up again sometime later, the volume goes back to 100%, so I have to
