Is someone trying to hack my computer?

I recently received a security alert saying that there had been unsuccessful attempts to try and access my outlook account, and so I changed my password. (I checked that this was definitely from Microsoft etc)Now when I turn my computer on I’m greeted with a blue screen saying that I need to enter my bit locker recovery key, which I do, I’m just concerned that this is an indication that someone is trying to hack my computer. Any help is appreciated
