Hi there,
I purchased a laptop in December 2016 which was pre-installed Windows 7 OEM but one good friend of mine clean or fresh installed Windows 10 not upgrade and I don't remember exactly but he did not purchase any license key.
So I am worried that he may have installed a cracked or pirated version.
Now when I check in settings-> Updates & Security-> Activation -> Its shows windows edition: Windows 10 Pro and it is activated with a digital license linked to my Microsoft account.
I am wondering how is it legally activated or still a pirated version?
