Is my Data lost?

So i wanted to make a fresh install on my PC, i grabbed a USB-Stick and used the Windows Media Creation Tool. After it finished, i wanted to access a .txt on my USB-Stick where i had some Information for me after the new install. However, i had choosen the wrong option for my stick and i converted the whole usb stick. My data seems to be lost right now, and with the usage from recovery tools i can only access old data from 5+ years ago which wasnt on the stick anymore. is there now a way to get everyhing back or did i lose all the data with 1 stupid click? Weirdly Enough i was able to somehow
