Is it possible to not cache a shared mailbox set via GPO/registry but not set it as enforced?

You can use downloadsharedfolders in the registry or GPO settings to disabled caching for shared mailboxes. The option is the "download shared folders" setting found in Account Settings for your mailbox > more settings > advanced.

The issue is when setting the option via GPO or registry, it is disabled but also enforced so the end user cannot change it. If you remove the GPO/registry, the option turns on and becomes adjustable.


Is there a way to make it so that it's disabled and adjustable by end users?
