Is Elite Cyber Security a legitimate Microsoft product?

Approximately two months after receiving my new laptop, my computer locked up. Anything I tried, wouldn't unfreeze this pop-up warning and I needed to call 1-855-474-9015, which I did. They said they were Microsoft partners, so I paid $195 and gave them access to my laptop. They followed up with an email stating I authorized the payment. They installed Net Security Version 2.0.bat on my desktop. Now, they're calling me just about everyday, several times a day. In investigating this further, I'm finding that this is a possible scam. Should I immediately delete this product? I included so
