Is an office “big share” folder accessible from two different country’s

I work in a small office where we have a “bigshare” folder that we can all access and edit from our laptops, would this “bigshare” folder be accessible from a different country (Canada to New Zealand ) I’m curious to know as I’d like to be able to work remotely and still have access to this folder but unsure if being in another country with a different IP address will effect my access
