Irql_not_less_or_equal windows bsod when closing any game on my laptop

I haven't had any issues regarding this on my laptop before and it just started a few days ago. what happens is whenever i close any game on my laptop, (fortnite, call of duty, valorant) you name it after a short while i get a bsod with the message Irql_not_less_or_equal. i tried deleting and reinstalling the games but the problem still persisted.
