IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity show No Internet/Network access

Got this computer around September and ever since then it wont work. The IPv4 and 6 both say no internet access. Ive tried to reset my modem, tryed to fix the properties by using manual IP addresses and Default gateway, tried using command prompt but still the ipv4 and 6 always say no internet access. There are times when they both connect but then immediately disconnect. Really need to use my laptop for school work. Pleasee help!!
