Internal Microphone problems

Hello, I have been using my internal laptop microphone which was working fine a couple of days ago, then suddenly for some reason I hear crackling in my left headphones whenever i try to hear myself using my internal microphone. But then on the right i can clearly hear my voice. Please someone help me, when i unplugged my headphones then try hearing my recordings again its all just crackling. Help PLEASE!!!!!!
