Integrated Webcam diabled

I was having a lot of issues with my integrated Webcam on MS Teams, it would regularly shut off and after clicking to reengage numerous times, it eventually stopped working for the duration of the meeting. This has been an issue now for the last 2-3 months. I tried updating drivers and troubleshooting with no success. I disabled it with the intent of just reenabling it hoping that might help. However, now the Integrated Webcam in the Device Manager is greyed out and there is no option in the ACTION tab to engage the camera. The message I get is:Currently, this hardware device is not connected
