Installing Windows 11 won't find wifi networks

I am setting up a new PC and downloaded Windows 11 to a thumb drive and am now trying to install it onto my PC. Im at the point "Lets connect you to a network" but none are showing up, only Ethernet which I dont have. I went to my motherboard's website and downloaded the wifi adapter to the thumb drive but none of the cmd.exe commands I found on here worked.
