Installing win 11 on a i7 4th gen.

Hello,I am trying to install windows 11 on an older (but still quite powerful machine i7-4790 with 32GB RAM), it refuses to install saying “the computer does not meet the requirement for windows 11” (which is not the most helpful of errors in terms of details) of errors to be honest).After researching, it appears to be the processor that is the limiting factor. Why is this, and is there a way around it? I am asking as my Win 11 laptop has a Ryzen 3 CPU which is puny in comparison to the i7 4th gen and I am loathed to throw a perfectly functional computer away.
