Is there are any development history of the modern Windows Memory Diagnostic tool from Windows Vista to Windows 10? How are they completely different from each other aside from the user experience and the looks?

They say that the Windows XP Memory Diagnostic Tool can only diagnose only the first 4 GB of RAM on your system. So if the system has more than 4 GB then the other part of that memory that makes it more the 4 GB won't be diagnosed. Does this 4 GB limit also exist on today's Windows Memory Diagnostic tool since Windows Vista?

Here are the screenshots of them from different sources online. Please take note that those aren't mine.

Both come from "Windows Memory Diagnostics - A Free Memory Diagnostic Tool For Windows"

Also take note that these are OS independent. This means that they can run without Windows even running. But they still need a boot manager.

Thanks you for your time.

P.S. I'll just select "Windows 10" as my Windows version for this question since that's the OS I've been using and I can't select a range of multiple Windows Operating Systems at the moment on this Community website.
