Import Outlook 2007 .pst file into Outlook 2016

I am planning to uninstall (not update) Office 2007 and install Office 2016, but I need to export the numerous search folders created on Outlook 2007 which, according to my experience, are saved in the. pst files.

If I copy the. pst files into Outlook 2016, the file will be converted to work with the new application, but most importantly, will the search folders work in Outllok 2016 as in the previous version?
