I’m using my usb that has the windows 10 installer on it and the setup won’t recognize it I tried to use a different usb port and it still hasn’t work

As it states in the title I’ve tried to plug it into a different usb port but it still hasn’t worked, if it helps I have a laptop that the old hdd died and I just replaced it with a sdd, it had windows 11 but I don’t know if I can install windows 11 before windows 10
