im trying to go passwordless but i keep getting locked out on my lock screen each time (pins don't work, changing them doesn't either)

so i have been all day trying to go password less, I ran netplwiz and cleared the “User must enter a username and password to use this computer” option. then I turned my computer off thinking it was done right, i turned it back on and asked me for pins and passwords, I had deleted them, I had them written down on a notebook too and it didn't matter how hard I tried it either was wrong or told me device was offline, and I got locked out, I have reseted the laptop at least four times already, I don't know how to go password less and I really need help because I am so tired of having to reset it
