In May, Microsoft announced a new category of devices: the Copilot+ PC. These PCs are the fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever built, featuring new silicon with NPUs capable of 40+ TOPS (trillion operations per second), all-day battery life and breakthrough AI experiences. This reimagining of the PC in its entirety has AI at its center, marking the most significant change to the Windows platform in decades. Now at IFA, the annual Berlin-based electronics tradeshow, Copilot+ PCs took center stage with Microsoft’s partners, including ASUS, which announced new Copilot+ PCs to their lineup of Zenbook and Vivobook laptops. Customers will begin to see Copilot+ PC experiences on these laptops starting later this year through free Windows Updates [1]. These new devices, equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processors with integrated NPUs delivering up to 48 TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second), will bring unique AI capabilities to Windows 11. Featuring an outer lid crafted from an ASUS exclusive Ceraluminum material, the Zenbook S 14 combines the warm, tactile feel of ceramic with the strength of aluminum. Powerful performance comes with the device’s Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, achieving 48 NPU TOPS and offering the newest AI experiences. The sleek chassis houses a 3K 120 Hz Lumina OLED display, while a four-speaker sound system delivers cinematic audio experiences. AI noise cancelation ensures crystal-clear conference calls, and the FHD AiSense IR camera supports AI effects for enhanced video interactions. Powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 7 processors with an AI engine of 47 NPU TOPS, the Vivobook S 14 excels in efficiently running AI applications. A dedicated Copilot key [2] provides quick AI assistance to optimize workflow, while a 75 Wh battery ensures up to 27 hours of unplugged use for all-day productivity. It’s all-metal chassis – all of 0.5 inches thick – protects two 97-blade IceBlade fans and two air vents, maintaining optimal performance without overheating, even under demanding workloads. A 360-degree hinge enables smooth transitions between laptop, tent, stand or tablet mode. Support for ASUS Pen 2.0 adds to its versatility. More features that make it a good choice for getting things done on the road: ultrafast Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and a wide range of I/O ports.
