In Windows 11, when the taskbar is at the top of the screen, by changing a registry value (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects3 → Settings → second row, sixth column, change value from “03” to “01”), programs with more than one window open can’t be selected on the taskbar. When you click on a program on the taskbar, if it has more than one window open (regardless of whether they’re minimized), the focus menu won’t open, which means that you’re forced to use ALT + Tab in order to switch programs or windows.
