IC2 HID device doesn't start?

My touchpad randomly stopped working and I tried deleting my touchpad driver and downloading it again.I noticed that it said I don't have this device that synaptic touchpad driver needs. I don't know how to update my HIDClass. There's no rollbacks or updates for it. I was wondering if there's anyway to get it fixed.
