I want to turn off the notifications area in my surface, I went into my registry and got all the way to the policy area but the only option is (default) reg-sz value not set, there is no 'explorer' option to let me get to NoTrayItemsDisplay and turn this notification taskbar OFF, if you have ever used photoshop you know that full screen the notification bar is OVER the bottom slider on your picture, thanks microsoft for once again making a piece of junk, good job...
