I updated to windows 11 and now can’t connect to wifi.

My motherboard is a B550M-HDV, it has no built in wifi and i use a AC 1300 (Wifi-5+Bluetooth 5.0 Combo Adapter) to connect to my wifi. However, after i upgraded to windows 11 (can’t see the option to go back to windows 10) the wifi has stopped working and only the bluetooth works.is this a problem with my adapter? should i buy a new one? or is there something i can do?when i plug it into my laptop the driver "realtek 8822BU" shows up, however when i plug it into my windows 11 pc, it odes not show up. thanks
