I see the the files in the external memory/USB flash drive but I cannot write /change on external drives

[Windows 11]

Windows 11 on Lenovo Thinkbook. stopped writing to USB stick memory or external hard drive. I can read the files, on external drive / USB memory but cannot change them. In the device manager USB/external drive is shown as unknown. Tried diiferent ports, different USBs What should I do? I tried different solutions provided in Google with no result.
