I remotely locked a computer and now an admin pin is needed to unlock. It does not have an admin. I need help unlocking.

I own a Dell Latitude computer. My son took his computer without my knowledge and I locked it using the find my phone, lock computer option. I am unable to find an option, now that I have it back, to unlock it. Now his computer says it needs to be unlocked by an admin. There isn't an admin. I have read that Microsoft created this lock option and it basically causes the user to have to factory reset the computer. If this is true, this is a major issue that Microsoft needs to address. I want help to restore it as is or I want compensation for the horrible experience of having to deal with
